Tennant Company (NYSE: TNC), a world leader in designing, manufacturing

world, today announces the hiring of
Jeffrey C. Moorefield
as Senior
Vice President of Global Operations, replacing
Don Westman
who will
retire on June 2, 2015, after nine years with the company.
Mr. Moorefield comes to Tennant from Minneapolis-based Pentair, Inc.,
where his most recent position was Global VP of Operations-Technical
Solutions. Previously, he held the same title for Pentair’s Filtration
and Process business and Water Purification business. In total, Mr.
Moorefield spent roughly 10 years with Pentair with a short two-year
break to lead operations for a technical start-up company. In addition
to these positions, Mr. Moorefield earned extensive experience in
leadership roles with Emerson Electric Company from 1987 to 2001, after
starting his career as a Design Engineer at Kentucky-based Smith &
Proffit Machine & Engineering. He holds a degree in Industrial
Technology from Western Kentucky University.

Mr. Moorefield’s appointment is effective as of April 20, 2015. His
office will be located at Tennant Company world headquarters in Golden
Valley, Minn.
