MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 2014-- Tennant Company today announces the retirement of Don Westman, Senior Vice President of Global Operations, effective June 2, 2015. The company will immediately initiate a search for his replacement. Mr. Westman joined the Company in 2006 as Vice President, Global Operations and was named Senior Vice President, Global Operations in October 2013.

“Under Mr. Westman’s leadership, Tennant Company has transformed our global operations,” said Chris Killingstad, Tennant Company President and CEO. “These achievements include global implementation of lean enterprise; globalization of sourcing efforts; expansion of Operational capabilities to key emerging markets of Brazil and China; and increasing manufacturing capacity in North America while decreasing the plant footprint by roughly 40%,” Killingstad added.

“On behalf of Tennant, I want to thank Don for his many contributions to the success of Tennant,” said Killingstad.

Killingstad noted that the company is targeting to name a replacement in first quarter 2015 in order to manage a transition period until Mr. Westman’s departure in June 2015.
